Black and white negative shows close-up view of two prisoners in long denim dresses and hats, pushing wheelbarrows full of sandstone; third prisoner, on left, adjusts hat on one man; prison sometimes punished prisoners by making them wear dresses; sandtone rock formations on each side of dirt road.
Museum of Colorado Prisons collection transferred from the storage at the Criminal Justice Training Center at the Abbey School in Canon City, CO to the Local History Center at the Canon City Public Library for preservation and archival storage. Henry M. Booth, instructor at the Criminal Justice Training Center, was the agent authorized to transfer collection.
